Introduction: 
Gender and Women Studies is an interdisciplinary programme. The programme acts as a catalyst to highlight the role of gender in all aspects of life in the national development. It is to integrate gender in the academic disciplines that have been historically male dominated. Gender and Women Studies attempts to expand the definition and perceptions of existing gender dynamics between women and men in the society .It encourages critical analysis of the interplay of gender, class, ethnicity, religion and race in the society. Furthermore it offers the holistic approach to knowledge by infusing it with a new perspective to shape a better future for all people. The courses are designed thus to encourage further research and analysis on gender and women’s status in Pakistani society. It will prove beneficial in many careers especially in-service people such as, journalists, educationists, community workers, administrators and human resource development projects etc.

Admission Requirement: 
A candidate having BA/ B.Sc. degree in second division from a recognized university is eligible for admission. The eligible candidate is required to attach photocopies of certificates/degrees and marks sheet with the admission form along with the requisite fee and submit it as per prescribed procedure. (The admission criteria is subject to review)
