Introduction

The 2 years’ degree program in environmental science is currently running for the students who have completed two year BSc in annual graduation system. The aim of this program is to enable students at their maximum to get up to the mark education for keeping pace of phase shift in undergraduate program by HEC. Department of Environmental Sciences at AIOU kept its motto of “Education to all” and has allowed the students enrollment till Autumn- 2021. The program will enable the students to develop intrapersonal rapport in the field of environmental awareness, sustainability, and advocacy. It aims at producing young environmentalists with strong educational base, sound knowledge, research capabilities and interpersonal competency to achieve long term benefits of developing sustainable societies. 

Eligibility Criteria

Criteria for admission in first semester of the 2-year program

  1. Two Year BSc (with al least two from the given list) with minimum 45% marks in Botany, Zoology, chemistry, Psychology.

Degree Requirement and Duration

To maintain the equivalence of duration of study at international level, the MSc program will comprise of 2-year (4 Semester). For award of degree of MSc in ES, the candidate will have to successfully pass all the courses (70 Credit hours including 6 Credit Hour Research Project) within a minimum period of 2 years (4 semesters).
