Introduction
The Department of Mathematics has started functioning as an independent department from 2014. Previously there was the Department of Mathematics and Statistics which was established in 1988. Presently the Department is offering courses at Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), Bachelor, MSc and MPhil level programs.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates having BA/BSc degree with at least second division and a minimum of 45% marks in major Mathematics.
Selection Process
On Merit. All eligible candidates will appear for interview before the Departmental Admission Committee(DAC).
