Introduction

The Department of Statistics was etablished in 1988 in the Faculty of Sciences, Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad. Since then, the faculty and students have shared a common goal of maturing the Department with sheer hard work and constant struggle. Currently the Department is offering the following degree programs which are approved by HEC, Islamabad: PhD Statistics, MPhil Statistics, MSc Statistics, BS Statistics

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates having BA/BSc degree with at least 2nd division or 45% marks from any HEC recognized institute/university along with statistics as a major subject. However, the students having graduate degree without statistics may apply in zero semester of MSc Statistics.

Selection Process

All eligible candidates will be granted Admission subject to fulfilling Eligibility criteria.
