Publications

Research & Publications: I have supervised several research projects of students related to environmental issues of Pakistan and climate change for different degree programs. I have presented the research findings at different national and international conferences. I also have several research publications in national and international academic journals.

Courses Designed and Taught: Ethnobotany, Environmental Monitoring and Characterization, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Greenhouse Gas Inventory, Environmental Biology, Environmental Management, Drinking Water Quality, Environment and Society, Waste Management, Sustainable Transport and Climate Change, Climate Change Negotiation

 

HEC Approved Supervisor: Currently supervising Ph.D and M.Phil projects on environmental pollution monitoring (soil, air, water and vegetation), solid waste management and greenhouse gas inventory preparation.

STFS Mentor at PSF : I was selected as mentor in the Science Talent Farming Scheme of Pakistan Science Foundation in 2017 and mentored several F.Sc. students for their science projects.

Roster of Experts: I am currently in the RoE for GHG Inventory from Pakistan

EIA reports reviews: I have reviewed several EIA reports sent from Pak-EPA

Consultancy/Academic Collaboarations: I have been a consultant in few projects related to curriculum development related to climate change and have also conducted few trainings. I am currently working as academic collaborator in few foreign and local funded projects related to environmental issues, sustainability and climate change.

About

The Allama Iqbal Open University was established in May, 1974, with the main objectives of providing educational opportunities to masses and to those who cannot leave their homes and jobs. During all these past years, the University has more than fulfilled this promise.
