Region History

The RC Gujranwala was established in 1986 and shifted to its newly constructed building in June 2012. The total area of the building is 12 kanals and 7 marlas and the covered area is 2 kanals and 14 marlas. This campus comprised of a 3-story building having 2 halls, computer lab, video conference room, Fully Equipped Library with over 2000 Books library, 12 classrooms, 1 E-classroom, help desk & student counselling room and administration block. Regional Campus (RC) Gujranwala caters 3 districts having 9 tehsils.This office covers three districts, District Gujranwala, Gujrat and District Hafizabad with total 09 Tehsils: Gujranwala, Wazirabad, Nowshera Virkan, kamomki Hafizabad, pindi bhattian Gujrat, Kharian, Sarai Alamgir.As per enrollment for semester spring 2022 is 16000 ,7889 tutors are associated with regional campus and 21 examination centers are established under RC.In future this office intendeds to launch BSCS program for the students of Gujranwala Region. Computer lab with fully accessories available for the purpose.

About

The Allama Iqbal Open University was established in May, 1974, with the main objectives of providing educational opportunities to masses and to those who cannot leave their homes and jobs. During all these past years, the University has more than fulfilled this promise.
