Regional Campus Allama Iqbal Open University Peshawar was established in 1977. It started its operations in newly constructed state of the art campus building at Hayatabad Phase-5 Peshawar in 2004. The new campus building is equipped with digital lecture rooms, computer labs, library, examination halls, auditorium, video conference rooms and student’s facilitation desk. Facilitation desk guide students for processing of admission and other issue related to the academic program. Regional Campus provides liaison between the students and different academic as well as administrative departments at main campus. It provides tutorial support to the students through 2710 highly qualified Part time tutors. Peshawar Region comprises of 05 districts i.e.  district Peshawar, district Nowshera, district Charsadda, district Khyber and district Mohmand. Students’ enrollment in different programs from Matric to master’s level is 13817. For facilitation of the students and redressal of their academic issues at their doorsteps, AIOU has appointed Part-time Regional Coordinator (PTRCs) at each district of the Region.
