Introduction
The Department is hosting an outstanding teaching and research environment. Research work undertaken at the department focuses on, renewable energy, hydrogen energy, environment, nanotechnology, materials science, computational material science. A major emphasis of current research activities are on promotion in renewable energy and related areas in which the Department have led to innovations. The faculty is actively involved in theoretical, experimental and computational research, and undergraduate students are an integral part of our research programme. The Department is currently offering PhD program in various research fields, renewable energy, nanomaterials, computational material science. The Department has developed all the courses for PhD level in accordance with the guideline provided by the higher education commission (HEC).
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum entry requirement for admission to PhD program shall be MS/MPhil/MSc (Hons) OR equivalent degree with CGPA 3.0 out of 4.0 in semester system or 1st division in the annual system (60% marks) as per HEC rules.
