Region History

The Regional Center AIOU Swat was established in1988. Swat Region works for three districts of Malakand division, Khyber Pukhtoon Khawa province, that include District Swat, District Shangla and District Buner with total 18 Tehsils. Help desk has been established to facilitate the students and guide the students for online admissions, for processing degree, and submission of complaints, issue related to workshop, financial assistance etc. As per enrollment semester Spring 2022 is 15450 and 17 examinations are established under RC Swat.

About

The Allama Iqbal Open University was established in May, 1974, with the main objectives of providing educational opportunities to masses and to those who cannot leave their homes and jobs. During all these past years, the University has more than fulfilled this promise.
