Region History

RC thatta was established 06/10/1986 and Shifted from Sujawal to Thatta on 08/04/2000 and caters three Districts (Thatta, Sujawal, Badin) having 14- Tehsils, 22875 Sq Kilometers diameter and population of around four Million. It has 6- Study centers, seven exam centers and 206 Registered Tutors and 30 Sales Points in the Region. RC has a functional helpdesk to facilitate the students. RC Thatta has been able to reach the students who were hard to reach in the far-flung areas like Chach Jahan Khan, Jati, Shah Bunder, Seerani, Keti Bunder etc.

About

The Allama Iqbal Open University was established in May, 1974, with the main objectives of providing educational opportunities to masses and to those who cannot leave their homes and jobs. During all these past years, the University has more than fulfilled this promise.
