Introduction
BS Instructional Design and Technology Program is a four-year degree program which focuses on upgrading the skills of 21st century learners to become proficient in the use of technology for effective facilitation of learning process. While embracing this paradigm shift of technology it intends to enhance the knowledge and skills of educators and professionals to design, deliver and manage learning environment both face-to-face and online. Secondary Teacher Education Department (STED) is launching instructional design process, learning theories, models, strategies, media, communication delivery models and interactive technologies, web designing and programming etc.
Program Objectives
This program will help in preparing educators, trainers and curriculum professionals for:
- building a foundation and conceptual framework for educational and instructional design process
- developing instructional strategies and skills to facilitate adult learning.
- using media, web and other ICTs to support learning
- utilizing collaborative and interactive learning tools
- employing emerging instructional technologies to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
Eligibility Criteria
FA/F.Sc or equivalent in second division with at least 45% marks.
Selection Process
Open Merit Program (offered in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Bahawalpur, Rahimyar khan)

Teaching Methodology
This program is offered in blended learning mode. Online workshops are conducted through Learning Management System (LMS) and Face to Face classes for practical based subjects have been conducted. A student has to secure passing marks in assignments as well as in final exams to successfully complete concerned educational programme.
