01.

Safwco-Sindh Agricultural and Forestry Workers Coordinating Organization:  

I was commissioned to provide the technical services for a Packard Foundation funded project to develop youth engagement strategy document, Capacity building of staff on youth engagement skills and development of tools on community mobilization and advocacy for adolescents and young people in 2017.

SAFWCO Sindh

Conducted a research study to find out the effectiveness of Empowerment of Adolescent Girls Project in 2019.

03.

Social Welfare Department, KP and Cowater International

Developed Strategic Plan for the Gender Cell, women empowerment and Social Welfare department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan in 2021.

04.

Sustainable Social Development Organization (SSDO)/ OXFAM: 

I did a project for SSDO: A research study on the norms related to child marriages in Sindh and Punjab Province under an Oxfam program.

05.

SAFWCO Sindh

With the objective to capacitate the government high school teachers and students on Life Skills Based Education I developed training manuals for and a life skilled based education curriculum in 2014.

Sahil

 

As Principal Investigator, conducted a research study on knowledge, attitude and practices of violence in Pakistan in 12 different universities all over Pakistan. The impact of violence on the personality of children was also assessed.

UNICEF

Development of a national framework and a guiding curriculum on Life Skills development for Adolescents in Pakistan.

Caritas Pakistan

 

Developed capacity building plan for Caritas Pakistan staff around provision of psychosocial support in emergency situations. Consequently, developed training module/ materials and conducted a two days training for staff and volunteers on Psychosocial support for victims of GBV especially in emergency situations with rights based approach in Caritas Head Office, Lahore in 2013.

ARSHA Associates

I did a project to conduct trainings and consultations with youth groups on youth issues and dealing with peer pressure and drugs prevention. The project was carried out from May to September 2007.

Bedari

Developed training manual and conducted training for the Bedari staff from different cities on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights.

10.

Rahnuma-Family Planning Association of Pakistan

Developed training manual and conducted training for the staff of FPAP and partner organizations from different cities on Gender Transformative Approach.

11.

SPARC- Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child

Conducted curriculum review of the existing pre-service teachers training curricula in Pakistan to assess the content on positive disciplining.

12.

Participatory Integrated Development Society

Worked with Provincial Institute for Teachers Education (PITE) snd facilitated 02 Workshops with the experts from PITE, Balochistan Textbook board and education department to review the secondary schools curricula with regards to Life Skills Approach.

13.

Planning and Development Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Development of Strategic Plan for Social Protection and Gender Section of the Department.

Gender Cell, Department of Social Welfare and Women Development, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Development of 05-year Strategic Plan for the gender cell to enhance the performance of the department in line with women empowerment and participation guidelines.

 

About

The Allama Iqbal Open University was established in May, 1974, with the main objectives of providing educational opportunities to masses and to those who cannot leave their homes and jobs. During all these past years, the University has more than fulfilled this promise.
