Introduction

MPhil (DNFE) is a research-oriented program, which aims at developing research skills; fostering critical awareness of educational theories, practices and creating debates in distance education, non-formal education, adult education, literacy and educational technology. Moreover, the program enables students to understand and develop skills to design and undertake research as per standards set at national and international levels in the domain of distance, non-formal and continuing education. Students are required to complete course work and research work (thesis) along with other necessary requirements for award of the degree.

  • MA Education/MEd/MS Ed /BEd (4 Years)Second Division

Teaching Methodology

MPhil Education with DNFE specialization is face to face program. It employs multiple methodologies using AIOU LMS. The students are required to use both face to face and online format for workshops, assignment, classes, mid-term and final exams as and when required/ as per schedule of the department / university. A student must secure pass marks in formative assessment (consists of assignments, presentation, mid-term) as well as in final exams to successfully complete a course. Attendance in workshops is compulsory.
