Introduction

This programme was launched in 1989 by EPM. The Department of EPM offers courses of study in the professional areas of educational planning and management which are aimed at producing a cadre of highly skilled professionals for educational institutions and other organizations of the country.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for MPhil (EPM) must possess MA (EPM) degree at least with 2nd division.

Students possessing MA ELM are also eligible to apply.

Students having MA Education (in any specialization other than MA EPM) must possess PGD EPM/ELM to apply.

Students having MA in Management Sciences must also possess PGD EPM/ELM to apply..

Selection Process

Selection of the candidates will be made strictly on the basis of merit/criteria laid down by the Department/ University.

Workshop

Online classes are conducted for all courses and two weeks workshop is compulsory to attend for synopsis development at Islamabad campus

Thesis

After completing course work students enroll in research thesis. Synopsis is developed and presented in the Departmental Research Proposal Committee (DRPC) after two-week synopsis workshop at Islamabad. Approved topics and allotted supervisor are notified by BASR on recommendation of DRPC.

Viva

After the internal and external evaluations final viva-voce exam is conducted.
