Introduction
The MPhil Mathematics Program at the Department of Mathematics was started in 2015 after obtaining NOC from HEC. The program currently meets HEC’s all requirements and is HEC approved. The Program offers the opportunity of further specialized training in an area of interest in Pure Mathematics or Applied Mathematics. The program is designed to cover many fields of interest in terms of educating students to apply mathematics in industries, banking, as well as solving real life problems.
The curriculum of this program is designed in such a way that both the course work and the research components are covered thoroughly.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates having BS/MA/MSc in Mathematics with minimum CGPA 2.5/4.00 (OR) 45% marks in annual system from any HEC recognized university.
Selection Process
Selection of the candidates will be made strictly on the basis of merit/criteria laid down by the Department/ University.
