Introduction
The Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Public Health and Nutrition (PHN) is a specialized program designed to provide advanced knowledge and skills in the field of public health and nutrition. This program is typically aimed at professionals and graduates who are looking to enhance their understanding of health issues, nutritional science, and epidemiology. The PGD PHN is an interdisciplinary program designed to prepare professionals to address complex health and nutritional challenges. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, graduates are equipped to contribute effectively to the field of public health and nutrition, improving health outcomes at individual and community levels.
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum qualification required is 14 years of education with at least 45% marks in the last degree, in the following fields

ASSIGNMENTS
Each course includes two assignments, which are compulsory for successful completion of the whole program. Each assignment is of 100 marks and students obtaining 50 percent marks will be declared pass.
CLASSES
Online classes will be arranged through Leaning Management System (LMS) on AIOU Aaghi Portal. This will cover all the lectures given by the allocated course coordinator /resource person. At least 70% attendance is compulsory for the students.
FINAL EXAMINATION
At the end of the semester there will be a final examination; all the students will be expected to take this examination in the examination halls at AIOUexamination centers especially established for this purpose.
